In this Paceline franchise, we ask Pacers, Paceline team members, and friends to test out products from our reward partners. Next up: Paceline Senior Email and Lifecycle Marketing Manager Emma Trevarthen gives Seed synbiotics a shot.
You know those brands you keep seeing on your social feeds, just begging you to try them out? For me, that was Seed. I’d never tried taking probiotics before, but I was excited to see if the DS-01TM Daily Synbiotic (a two-in-one probiotic and prebiotic) could help support bloat ease—especially since no other product I’ve tried has ever worked for me.
So, I went ahead and signed up for a Seed subscription. Typically, it costs $50 per month, but by hitting my streak in the Paceline app, I earned and cashed in on a discount for my first order. Admittedly, I was a little bit skeptical at first. I even put a reminder in my calendar to cancel if I wasn’t noticing a difference. But I haven’t canceled—and I don’t plan to. Below, a few reasons why.
Seed impressed me from the start.
As soon as I placed my first order, Seed let me know that I might feel a little bloated for the first few days as the probiotic began to work. That helped me to create a plan for trying out the product—I decided to start taking my pills on a day when I would be working from home and could wear comfortable clothes. In addition to this kind of info, I think Seed is great about educating subscribers on why they need probiotics.
When my first month’s supply arrived, the packaging immediately caught my eye. It’s beautiful and functional: They give you a large jar to store your pill shipments as well as a travel tube that you can take when you’re on the go. I also love that they send everything in sustainable packaging.
I’ve noticed major benefits on my health!
Per the instructions, I started to take one pill for the first few days, then two pills each morning as soon as I woke up. Within the first few weeks, I noticed an ease of bloating. Ultimately, that signaled to me that I was doing something great for my gut and giving it what it needs to function properly.
My skin is super clear and smooth. I didn’t expect that kind of benefit to come along with Seed’s probiotics, but when I did more research, I learned that DS-01TM is intended to support skin health. (Definitely not mad about it!)
Generally, I noticed the biggest difference in the first and second months of taking the pills. Now that I’m five months in, I don’t detect much change from day-to-day, but I imagine I would if I stopped using DS-01TM—not that I plan on it. (I actually have purchased a pill tracker to make sure I never miss a dose, so you know I’m in it for the long haul.)
DS-01TM is a great value.
$50 per month? So worth it. That’s less than $2 per day to keep your gut health in check. Plus, it makes me feel happy to do something good for my gut, and you can’t put a price on that. In fact, I think this is such a great buy that I’ve already recommended it to friends.
Bottom line? I’ll be deleting that “cancel subscription” reminder.
